Total Bellas star Nikki Bella says her fiancé Artem Chigvintsev wasn’t bothered at all when her ex John Cena reached out to her when her son Matteo was born.
Nikki Bella, 36, said the “Dancing with the Stars” pro and the father of her 3-month-old son Matteo is “so secure” in their relationship, while noting she isn’t in regular contact with Cena.
the retired WWE wrestler told Page Six: “That’s what I love about Artem, he’s just so comfortable in his own skin, in our relationship, he’s so secure, which he should be, we could literally be friends with exes and it doesn’t bother us.”
Last week, Bella told US Weekly that Cena, 43, sent her and twin sister, Brie Bella, congratulatory wishes on the births of their children. She also clarified that she hasn’t spoken to John one-on-one in a “long time.”
Nikki said: “I haven’t talked to John in a conversation in a long time, well over a year, he congratulated us about the babies, but that was group text, not individual to me.”
Her twin sister Brie added, “I think, too, because he was so close with our family and when we have big milestones, like when the book came out and having the babies [Matteo & Body ], he’ll put us on a group text to send congratulations.”
Bella and Cena split back in 2018, after their six-year romance, the two have moved on with different partners.
Nikki quickly fell in love with her former “Dancing with the Stars” pro partner Artem, and they got engaged in November 2019. eight months later they welcomed their first child Matteo.
John had wed to Shay Shariatzadeh, 19 months after meeting on the set of his film Playing with Fire in her native Canada.
